T M Safety Signs Updates
Network Rail SmartSign
St Pancras Station, London have taken delivery of a SmartSign to solve a problem. The taxi rank is located out of view from the main station entrance. Network Rail sought a simple solution to call taxis forward to the entrance.
TM Safety Signs has delivered a solar powered, radio controlled SmartSign that can be activated from the control office at the entrance. This is a simple solution, requiring no additional infrastructure.
The system will go live in February 2009.
