Balfour Beatty SmartFrames
SmartFrame gives the operator the capability of rotating signs out of live traffic lanes when not required. This is particularly useful when concrete barrier is installed and central reserves are narrow. Full size temporary signs can be swung through 90 degrees when not in use. Balfour Beatty have opted for the full package to give them ultimate flexibilty. The SmartFrames are combined with SmartSigns and SmartBlinds, all solar powered for 'plug-an-play' operation. The first set of 5 units have been delivered to the Swindon area. The remaining 20 units will be delivered by the end of January 2010.
